How we formulate

Science, not theatre.

Most skincare claims survive exactly as long as the label. Ours have to survive our lab notes.

Three principles we refuse to compromise

1. Concentration in efficacy range

Every active ingredient appears at a concentration supported by published clinical data. If a study shows niacinamide works at 4–10%, our products use 4–10% — not 0.5% for marketing theatre.

2. Full disclosure

Every product page lists actives and their concentrations. No proprietary “complexes” hiding the real formula. You should know what’s going on your skin.

3. Barrier comes first

Aggressive actives without barrier support do more harm than good. Every treatment product in our range includes ceramides, panthenol, or similar barrier-supportive ingredients alongside the active.

What we won’t put in a product

  • Mineral oils and silicones as primary vehicles
  • Fragrance allergens (the 26 regulated EU allergens)
  • Synthetic colourants without a functional reason
  • Microbeads or exfoliants that harm water systems

Testing

Every formulation goes through: stability testing (3 months at multiple temperatures), challenge testing (microbial stress tests), human patch testing for sensitivity, and in-use trials with 30+ volunteers over 4 weeks before release.

None of our products or ingredients are tested on animals, at any stage, anywhere in the supply chain.
